Money makers Vs Money Managers

Many people are talking about building capital, wealth and investments. Specially the countries that have large amount of capitals. We see multiple trillion dollar funds all over the world. IPO are being floated on the market. SpaceX IPO is about to hit over a trillion dollar capital.

The governments in developed world are providing funding to start ups without asking for equity, many banks are also looking forward to partnerships to make higher return on investments. There is an oversupply of capital than the demand.

The major investments are going in tech companies, data centers, fintech, life sciences and sustainability projects. Innovation is being talked about on daily basis.

The interesting fact is that proven concepts that attract large fundings are fewer and there are more and more investors looking for such opportunities.

Is there a shortage of entrepreneurs who are skilled to scale a concept? There are employees at senior positions who are thinking of one pay check to another pay check. The bureaucracy and answering to financial managers sometimes take too much of the time and slows down the progress.

Many organizations just give up to competition and market dynamics and not really sitting and discussing ideas or building partnerships that can get them out of this misery. Nokia, Kodak movements are repeating when innovations take off in other organizations.

The result: inflation is increasing, supply chains are disrupted. Availability of products and services that provide real value is scarce.

The questions to all professionals.

If you get a million dollar today, what will you do with it?

Can you solve a problem that generate value to costumers or a society.

Is the business idea innovative and cannot be easily copied?

Are you capable of convincing your organization to invest in these ideas?

What skills do you need to covert a capital into value generation machine?

If you know the answers, you are the asset. You are the moneymaker all capitalists are looking for.

Critical thinking is an art. Watch this documentary, it is a thought provoking time investment.
